Research built on 37,361 Massachusetts building-permit records from 31 municipal sources. Every figure on these pages is recomputed from the live dataset each time the site is built, and every article publishes the rule it used, the sources it excluded, and a downloadable file of its own numbers.

Three articles, not thirty. Six candidate findings were mined from this data and three survived checking. The other three are on the corrections page with the reason each was killed.
